« Manivane » was created in 2015 by Muriel Pérez.
Named after Alain Resnais’ film « Muriel, ou le temps d’un retour » , she had no choice but to develop a passion for cinema.

Growing up living across South-East Asia (« Manivane » is her Laotian name), West Africa and Latin-America opened her mind to cultural exchange, gave her multilingual skills, and encouraged her to think outside the box.

After a Master in International Project Management from Sciences Po Lille (France),
she worked for three years in international NGOs in Brazil, France and Ivory Coast,
until her love for cinema caught up.

She is now member of a collective production company, CLARAbis, in which she develops cinema-related activities.
